I'm going to do my TopGear bit now.

It doesn't matter how good the car looks, at the end of the day when someone asks you what you drive, you have to say "honda accord". [yawn]
I'm proud to day I drive a Honda Accord, its an awsome car

So... they judge people based on the car they drive? That's a bit lame.
Erh, don't we all? You'd think totally different about someone who drives a beat up old pick up truck to someone who drives a super car. If you also watched top gear you'd know they're extreme opinionated, it's what makes the show so good.

Uhmm, no. It's just a cage with wheels on it. You use it for transport.

No, no I don't. The car has nothing to do with the person.

*Takes note not to take Top Gear seriously*

i like it and i liked the old ones too. i'd like to see a type-r again. i think a 2.2 cdti is more likely to be the popular one in the UK tho.
Type-R only available in civic form iirc. The new one just launched here early this month

No?! [thumbdown]

If someone judges a person from his car as far as personality/social goes (we aren't talking about money now), then that person have really big issues in judging everything in his life

Wow, so the UK Accord is the same as the US Acura TL? Do you UK'ers have to pay Acura prices for the Accord?

i dont know what acura prices are like, bu we dont pay anything over the top for an accord by any means.

and as for type-r's... we had an accord one for the 98-03 model...

and the US civic type r almost looks like an integra dc10 i think. ours did look like...

but is now like....

The U.S. hasn't had a Type-R anything since 2001. The last car with that badge was the Integra Type-R. There have never been any Civic Type-R's in the U.S.
