I've got it.

If you need to record things then yea it's worth the money ... it offers you the ability to record and the "Anytime" feature. Remember, if you want HD then you need the SkyHD box, which offers everything Sky+ does with the added benefit of being able to view the HD channels.

Getting it in the morning, as there is now no monthly charge for it, I'll let you know what I think.

Had it for a couple of years (maybe).. brilliant, don't know how we lived without it before. Series links etc. are a stroke of genius.

Biggest plus - never having to watch shitty adverts.

We've had it for a few years now. It's excellent. It makes recording programmes so easy, and it makes finding the recording you want to watch easy too rather than having to wade through a load of VHS tapes.

Edit: Being able to pause and rewind live TV is a handy feature too!

The term pausing live tv always seems wrong to me. I mean, your just recording, not 'pausing'

Well technically you're pausing and recording at the same time, but as far as the viewer's concerned you're watching a live broadcast and you press the pause button and it pauses.
