Good movie, but i expected much more. Its like they took 1 episodes and made it in to a longer episode.

Family guy movie was better.

average overall...

i did not like barts attitude towards flanders... also i think it woud have been much cooler if bruns would have been the villain... not some random dude from some organisation...

Barts attitude was odd, indeed. Not like we haven't seen the change in heart in previous episodes though...but repeated again?

I really felt the lack of other characters playing any meaningful role too, we hardly saw them. Surely if this is a movie, a climax of the all the series, then surely the majority of characters should have a role?

I thought it was ok.

Was expecting it to be a bag of laughs but it was very broken.

I watched it earlier today,
tbh i think my expectations where a bit to high.
Imo it was o.k, just kinda like a long Simpsons episode,
nothing to write home about though.

Just curious, how would you have liked the other characters tied in? There were plenty of other characters, with just as much time spent on them as in the episodes. Afterall, this was the Simpsons Movie, not The Movie About Springfield. I was laughing the entire time. I think alot of you just try and over analyze things simply because the show is 18 years old. But that's just my opinion.

I dont think just because they are all running around banging on a glass wall they are tied into the story...

Of course its the simpson movie, but i really dont want to see a disney persiflage where birds and deer take their clothes away and watch them bonk each other. (yes it was funny )

Also Bart wearing this bra (im the mascot of an evil multinational company... [thumbup] )

But why do they have to make references to this/other movies... companies when their own franchise is over 18 years old. They could persiflage themselves and it would be even funnier

They are and that's what is bad about the newer episodes.
