Best buy scams people and i guess the people who buy those cards are people who dont know alot about computers.

Also, its even worse if you want to deal with the geek squad. They will charge you alot of money just to download some web drivers. I needed some web drivers couple months ago and they was trying to charge me 80 dollars, and they say its labor work. [rofl]

I'm thinking to myself, how is going into google, finding some drivers, and burning them onto a disc labor? Its not like i was asking to ship me out some brand new computers.

hey i'm not rich, but i'm nearing it, however i am extremely cheap. Bestbuy products are high as hell. I was thinking about buying my video card from there, the geforce 5200 one and its 84 dollars haha. When you can find that same card for 44 bucks elsewhere.

And whats up with the VHS tape pack, 19.99 for 6. And there xbox games are also high.
Bestbuy sucks.

I bought a laptop there recently..

Pentium core duo, 160GB hdd, 1gb ram and a dvd burner and vista home premium. It cost $799...


Just a month ago they dropped the price to $599. I brought my receipt in and they gave me 200 bucks in cash without question.

With Best Buy you are dealing with middlemen, you have to consider the cost of display space, the building itself, employees, convenience.....and so on. It's always better if you can shop online, IDK much about Fry's but the only thing I buy from Best Buy is DVD's, extremely cheap, lots of sales and good selection. Other than that, steer clear.

I'm not even sure what your point is anyways... are you debating with me on the issue of privacy of your equipment in the hands of a technician or the morality of fapping to a dead porn star's pictures?

Do you know that there have been cases of traffickers of child pornography having been caught due to the prying eyes of computer technicians working on their machines? Would it make you feel better if we enacted safeguards to protect porn stars from having pictures of themselves naked (*gasp, the horror...) taken from their computers whilst sick people run around free under the radar?
