That's a single window in the back right? I love them with the split window, think it's only the first year they were produced that they got the split window but not sure....

the only year for the split window was the first year C2 (1963-1967). other than the split window the 63 is slightly less desirable than the other "mid year" vettes, along with the 64 since those were the last two years corvettes used drum brakes.

1963 vette

the 1974 corvette is a C3, which rides on the same chassis as the C2. the C3 was produced from 1968 till 1982, recieving several changes in styling over the course of it's lifespan. I personally think that the chrome bumper cars produced from 1968-1972 are the best looking of the c3's.

1968 vette

While not technically a "muscle car", I would love to take a spin in one of these beasts...

At least I am not the only one.

corvette stingray 1974
You don't want a 1974. You want either the 70' or 71'. They have the highest power numbers of some 370hp and 425hp. In a 74' your lucky to have a wee bit over 200hp for the top end motor due to strict US emission regulations during this time.

A good mate of mine is restauring one, a '74 or a '76 Corvette. I'm almost possitive it's a '74 though. I don't dare to say the original engine is going to be used.

But anyhow, I like those cars really much as a American muscle car, even though there are much more brutal ones around.

Had to look that one up, not very known with only 547 made
Looks brutal, the specs I mean, the car itself it damn ugly [surrender]

The acceleration performance of the GNX outpaced the factory's power claims: 0-60 mph (97 km/h) took just 4.7 s with a 13.4 s/104 mph (167 km/h) quarter-mile. According to contemporary sources, these numbers made the GNX the fastest production sedan ever built. This claim is somewhat controversial—the car had two doors but its interior volume and structure made it a sedan rather than a coupe, and just 547 examples were built.

P.s. never thought to see a Buick in this thread [rofl]

AC 427 Cobra, This one is a knock off but looks just like the real thing.

2100~2500 lbs, depending on the version, and if it's the S/C version it has an alleged 800 hp.

IMHO this is possibly the most beautiful car ever crafted, History marks it as one of the most lusted after cars ever produced. Today you can literally find dozens of companies making kit cars or replica cars of this gem.
