Says the Jr. yuppie in training with his VW. [rofl] The town I live in is full of yuppies. You find them all the time... at Starbucks "studying" with their Macbook, with their beemer parked visibly in front of the windows just outside. |

So I have been using my iPhone for about an hour and man do I love it! In fact, I'm posting from it right now. Leeching off a Red Lion hotel hotspot while my family finishes up dinner! I'll be sure to post a first impressions and a review a little later. [thumbup] seriously though, imo, it seems like a great product. I wouldn;t mind having one, but for the price...not sure i want to go there. I think it's pretty compelling though. I don't have a fullsize ipod, or a smartphone, so I may be tempted to have a do everything device like the iphone. Regardless, i probably won't go there for at least 6 months and untill future versions. |

I drive an old, stock Honda. I drink Tim Hortons coffee. I don't even own an MP3 player, and I use PCs. No but I do agree that stereotypes exist for a reason. For the record, I hate Starbucks. ![]() |

You consider the iPhone an actual phone? Toy more like it. Something that *******s get to show off to people (like the razor) and think they're oh so cool when they talk on it 24/7. I mean, why the Hell do you need everything but the kitchen sink in a ****ing cell phone? Not to mention once that one thing breaks (and it will) you lose everything. Why would he lose everything when it breaks? Just like any other smartphone/PDA all numbers/contacts, as well as calender information is synced to the computer. ![]() |

Otherwise, I'll be sticking to my Moto flip phone and (cheaper) Verizon service. ![]() |

I tend to agree with Creyato... I think cell phones are only useful for making phone calls/text messaging. Period. I just don't need any of that. Hell, my plan for all 3 phones on the service is 500 minutes a month. Currently we are sitting on about 4800 rollover minutes and we were just told about 300 minutes will be expiring soon. Some people may want all those features. (notice I said want, not need). But I could never see myself ever buying an iphone. |

Apple oh and that wifi connection that you're bragging about belongs to starbucks so once you leave - have fun on dialup buddy! Oh, wait you blew your wad on the phone and starbucks is too expensive, hrm - I got nothing! You consider the iPhone an actual phone? Toy more like it. Oh,and I need all this stuff so I can read and reply to this while upstairs in bed! I tend to agree with Creyato... I think cell phones are only useful for making phone calls/text messaging. It is interesting to see that you keep pretty close tabs on these people what they own, drive, coffee preference, etc. |
