Uhh, 9-11 in the USA happened before the current Iraq or Afganistan situation.
I was speaking primarily from a British point of view.

Don't worry these idiots couldn't pull off something big if they tried (they've done a pretty poor job of pulling off something small) These guys aren't even in the same league as the 7/7 bombers. Those guys had the sophistication to produce acetone based explosives these guys have fancy ideas but not the knowledge to put them to action they are very amateur.
I must be misunderstanding your classification of "they" but it seems to me that no one thought that 20 terrorists could hijack 4 american airplanes and manage to hit major american targets with 3 of them either. It shouldn't be whether what we think they can or cannot not do, but what previous history has shown us. Some of these terror organizations have ties with countries that have nuclear weapons. Im sure you heard all of this before, but i was struck by the naivety of you comment.

7 july is?

if you read your history book, majority of the war and killing are related to religion.
your religion is the most effective tools available to the devil..

why does bush fight so many wars? he is religious! that's why....
they win they are always right and need to prove it.
they can't see logic, faith is not about truth....
[thumbup]
imo, this is an extremely unsophisticated and narrow understanding of why wars happen. To me, this sounds more like a symptom of your disaproval of anything to do with religion more than anything else. your analysis of why bush goes to war is laughably simplistic.

wars are caused for any number of reasons. If you wish to go to ideology, the guiding force is extreme ideology or extremism not necessarily religion. Moreover, any basic understanding of world history will tell you pretty for pretty well any war, there are dozens of politcal and econmomic factors. But, the point being, Fact is, Moderate religious are no more likely to make war than moderate secularists.

and if you wish to go to history or history of wars, there is a lot more to every war than religion, including something like the crusades. Moreover, the 20th century basically contradicts your simplistic analysis. Fact is, more deaths in world history (upwards of 500 million) had almost nothing to do with religion - rather, extremism was the guiding principle. I'm speaking of WW1, WW2, and Communist Revolutions and the genocidal purges that followed. ( Communism alone is probably responsible for nearly 300 million.) Fact is, as for shear numbers, one could say more deaths in the entirity of world history have been caused by communist ath[ism. Of course this would be a simplistic analysis, because the guiding force as i have already have pointed out is EXTREME IDEOLOGY.

If you wish to get to the heart of the current events in the UK, one needs to look to dozens of factors, not just simplistic, bigoted, assaults on religion. (including): alienation from society, the political events in the middle east, an unfulfilled life with little meaning, and extremist religion. (in this case it's fairly obvious it's a form of extremist islam) but evenstill, religion is not the only factor, because these people have political motives as well. And one only need to look to upwards of 20 million moderate religious in the UK, who are no more likely to commit violence than any secularist, including the likes of almost knee jerk, bigoted, secularist like yourself.

and for those who wish to sort through the muddle of politically correct bullshit coverage regarding the current events in the UK, the culprits are most likely, unsophisticated Al Qaeda inspired wannabees, that share A.Q.'s extremism and mission.

You can't tell me 7/7 would still have happened if we hadn't blindly followed America into attack Iraq
yeah, i know, because like, if we just leave extremist islamists alone, they won't bother anyone[rolleyes] Islamist terrorism was essentially started 9/11/2001 because of George W. Bush. wasn't it?
