yeap Futureshop and Best Buy, the later IMO being the better one.

Alternate choices are A&B Sound and Visions, both of which, in my opinion, generally employ more knowledgeable staff than Future Shop and Best Buy.

Go to Future Shop if you know EXACTLY what you want and don't need to talk to anyone.
Go to Visions if you're good at haggling.
Go to A&B Sound if you want to speak to someone who can tell you a lot about the product.
Go to Best Buy if you are hypnotized by the colour blue.

not really, for instance BB sells Westinghouse tvs whereas FS doesnt

Interestingly there doesn't seem to be any real difference in price between the UK and Canada - for camcorders at least [shocked]
