[surrender] damn it all! I got dragged out to the intraweb. A lot of friends keep adding and emailing me about this. Now I'm a victim of facebook.

Because .. daaaam it have a lot of things to "do" and it is really complicated (in a web dev perspective)

Yes, I have a Facebook account. I like it better than Myspace, which I also have. I generally don't like these social/school networking sites so I barely log on. I have found many old friends and classmates which is nice.

Yes, I use it every day. Mainly for the discussion boards in the groups that I've joined. Good way to speak with ppl with similar interests as you.

Yea, I use it! I wont even bother with myspace... to much spam and stupid praty posts.

Facebook has nice touches, like rubbing your relationship status into your ex's face... Love it! [thumbup]

That will teach ya b***h!

I got dragged onto myspace. After that I put my foot down and refuse to be a part of any other moronic sites like that.

I loved facebook because of it's simplicity.

Now it's turned all myspace-y. With all the new "applications" you can add on now. It's really stupid. And if you've got friends like me who fall for this type of ****, you end up getting like 30+ invitations to add this "super poke" application.

I still use it though because it allows me to upload as many photos as I can. Great place to put all the photos of me and my friends.

I prefer to remain a Google Ghost.

If someone wants to know something about me, they can ask.

Almost everyone I know uses facebook. I created an account, but deactivated it as I believe it's an invasion in privacy. I hated how some people tagged me in their pictures (yes I'm a vein person).

that was my conceirn too. This thins is JUST crazy how it can "expand" so fast and easy.

but damn it. Friends > me ... and is the only way I can "find" old friends.

I haven't put much info or will distribute them publicly. But yes, I'm a very serious protector of my personal information in the intraweb.

Im on there too, it used to be very good when it was just for university students, but now its gone all myspace-y and whorish (thats the only way I cant describe the last 20 years or so in music, movies, socially accepted things and popular attitude)

Its good to message people if you need to tell them something right away since I know most people (my gf) check it atleast once a day if they can.

At uni its basically a necessity these days to even keep informed of whats happening and to stay in contact with a desperate group of people that you know. Even the most die hard anti-facebook people I know seem to have given in to its inevitability.
