Default Where do you want to live?
Where have you had a realistic or unrealistic desire to live sometime in your life?

Since visiting Vancouver, I've always thought it would be nice to live there for a couple of years. The city is very beautiful and there are plenty of attractive women. Less realistic would be to move to SE Africa for a couple of years.

Japan. Totally love it, but utterly unrealistic. Ah well.

Yeah, my unrealistic one is to move to Canada or somewhere that isn't near as bad as America is. Though with my current g/f, she would love to live in Canada so it might be a future possibility. [thumbup]
Lots of beautiful land, animals, no humans, no roads, no power lines, no nothing. Thats where I want to live. My own little heaven on earth. [thumbup]

My realistic place is Northern California.
I was hoping to have been out there by around this time, but I may have to wait. My g/f is going to school here and I had rather stay here with her then leave. So unless she decides to go to school over there this next semester (in two months or so) I have another year here. [thumbdown]
I am tired of living here, especially with my allergies.

Vancouver, is my realistic place I would like to live. Loved it sense I went there 3 years ago.

Unrealistic would have to be Italy, I want to go to art school there next year, as a study abroad type thing, but I don't know if that will happen.[thumbdown]

Out of the places I have visited, Japan seemed the most friendly/inviting country to me. Learning the language would be most helpful though

Even though the UK has a lot of bad points, I still think I would miss it though.

Have fun paying your Cali taxes buddy. Yeah you will make more money, but they will bleed you dry with taxes.

Dream place: SF Bay Area with no losers from the Mid West that come to be "enlightened" and "progressive". They have absolutely ruined that place in 20 years flat.

Realistic place: My current town, Reno, Nv. Great arts and music scene, on fire economy... love it.

not sure if i would want to live abroad tbh, visit yes but for a permanent base i don't think i would
I feel the same way. I love my country and even though I have been to many wonderful places around the world, I still love the US.

The Bay Area, California. I have quite a lot of family there anyway. But if it wasn't for the NHS, my medical bills would be quite high, so I would have to get a pretty high paying job (or one that offered very good health insurace) if I was to stay.

Otherwise it would be Germany, although that would require me learning German (or all of Germany learning English).

I see myself as a cosmopolitan, so I need the big city. And from all the cities I have been too, Hong Kong was the most interesting one. But that was when it was still under british rule. The culture clash there resulted in a very interesting lifestyle, I would call it a "londonish New York in Asia". But ever since the chinese took over, the place pretty much lost that flair.

So currently I dont have a place anymore I'd rather live than where I am now. One thing is certain though, if I had to pick another place it would be either a place in Western Europe, North America or in between (Bermuda sounds good, lol). Because thats where the music plays. Australia and New Zealand actually are too far away from anything, Japan is too weird and the rest of the planet isnt developed enough.

I already love where I live, I would always come back to Australia no matter where I went.

BUT

I would like to have second houses in New York and one on the French Riviera.
