Mars. The moon would do too but I'd still have a sense of underachievement

I think realistically we (me, the wife and the twins) will end up living in rural France, my wife's Mother and Father have lived there for 6 years and her sister is moving there this year, it's such a beautiful and unpopulated place, I love it.

I would also like to live in Denmark or New Zealand, two very different places obviously but I always feel "at home" in either country, a few more years saving for now though.

Somewhere cool and not freaking hot. Damn I hate the hot weather here.

Right here in the Bay Area. Feels such like home to me and all of my friends, I couldn't imagine moving away. There isn't any other place that I can think of where you can snowboard in the morning, hike a redwood forest in the afternoon, and surf at sunset (as infeasible as that sounds). At least not in California.

Lots of culture, and um... 420 'culture,' internationally connected, lots of women, just about everything I'd want or need.

Las Cruces, New Mexico and if USCIS are very nice I should be living there in September. Unrealistic well California would be great but who can afford that? I'll have to wait out the housing crash before I can afford that

Naples has always held a special place in my heart.
Yeah, lovely place. I particuarly enjoyed the run down "graffiti everywhere" look. Also the piles of rubbish all over the place added a certain jena se quoi...

Me, I'd say Canada too. BC, most likely Vancouver.

I guess I just prefer the charmingly run-down 17th century look to the drably non-descript high rises of Vancouver.

Hmm... I live in Canada, all my life.. but I'd probably move to Australia or America if I had to choose a different nation.

It would be awesome if Australia joined the North American Union.

Have fun paying your Cali taxes buddy. Yeah you will make more money, but they will bleed you dry with taxes.
I came from Cali and love it there, even in the 120degree weather that the North sometimes gets. 0% Humidity, makes it much more enjoyable then 85 degrees with at least 70% humidity. Makes 120 degrees look like a joke.
Using my brother as an example, I think that I will make due as long as I get the right opportunities.
He as has always worked for the Church living there. Once he was up in the mountains, and currently, is is 1/4 mile away from his own private beach. Never has had to pay over $700/mo in rent. Even now, where he currently is at it is only $700. That also includes utilities. He only makes a little over $30k year, has a stay at home wife and three kids, two vehicles, and plenty of money to still enjoy life. He uses his credit card for everything, but then pays it all off once the bill comes.

As long as you work for the Church or Government, you are pretty well off, or better then a similar person like you not working for either. Which I myself want to work for one or the other. Benefits/Retirement are the best with these two groups.

Also, I know that I am not going to start anywhere high up over there, I even want to finish my school over there. But I have got a bit of money already saved up that will last me for a long time even going to school there, so think that I will make due. Always even helps to have family around also. Makes things a lot easier.

Germany or Japan would be another realistic/unrealistic dream. Not sure if I would want to leave my family like that. Might do it for a couple of years though.
I have always wanted to learn German and Japanese, and I love their cultures.

Realisticly id love to go back to north wales one day, moved away when i was a kid and still feel like the area is my home.

Pipe dream would have to be venice, went there this year and just fell in love with the place. I know its full of tourists but it just seemed so relaxed there and the scenery was just spectacular

I'm not sure that I could decide on a place when I haven't been everywhere. I really like Rotterdam in the Netherlands though the people are nice and they speak English
