I think about my second love more then the first.

I think i was just with the first one for a long time, i`ll never forget her but it was nothing like my second. There was only a week between the two as well as strange as it sounds.

I really do miss her probably more then the 7 year relationship that i just came out of 2 weeks ago.

Yep, still think of mine from time to time. Mainly because she suddenly went crazy after a couple of years and tried to destroy my life. She turned many of my friends against me with lies about me threatening to hurt her (we were in the same social circle and worked in the same building too) and i never got to the bottom of it. We were on the verge of moving in together, having kids etc too which made it even more surprising! It took me a few years to get over, it screwed me up that much! So sometimes i think about the 2 years of good times, but then i'm reminded of the sudden craziness that took years to fix.

The thing that bugs me is i've been getting texts frrom her every few months for the last 4 years asking if we can meet up, but i always refuse because even though i still have the feelings for her, i feel i would be a fool to go meet her.

Glad the crazy girl I knew went nuts early on, I'd hate to think how screwed up I would be if it happened a year or two later.

do you always remember your first love? God I hope not. Sometimes it kills me thinking about her.

But I've only ever really been in love that once, hopefully it'll happen again and I can forget the first time.

If by "first love" you mean first girlfriend/boyfriend (that's what most replies seem to imply) then nope. Never had one, so I've never experienced all the negative stuff many seem to have.

I remember my first love...but, i don't think about him. Never do i sit and ponder what might have been. A lot of people say that you'll always have a place in your heart for your first love, but i think that place must be gone for me. I mean...i wouldn't want him to get hit by a dart bus or anything...but, i definitely don't think about him...at least not until people post topics like this...and then i'm like "Oh yeah, i wonder what ever happened to him.."[yawn]

I dont think it would have been love if you didnt always remember her... what your feeling is probably a good thing.

that being said my personal policy is to leave them in them past. They are great memories; but I think its best that way if you want to make room in your life for new ones.

There are tons of girls from my past who can still get under my skin like that when I see them or even think about them... I kind of like having a rich basis of experiences form which to base myself.
