Congratulations! I'd keep a close eye on your wife though - she's already trying to feed him cakes; well, I know he's early and a little bit smaller than usual but that's not the way to make 'im all big and strong!

Thanks everyone [yes]

Didn't think about Beschuit met muisjes being unknown to most off the forum population, thanks Dutchforce [thumbup]

Mom and Max are both at home now, max is sleeping and the mom is nagging me to make her a sandwich so I'll get to that now.

Dra6on, nope

The best advice I gotten so far is to don't listen to all those things and just enjoy it as much possible. And up till now he seems a heavenly blessing of a child in the sence that I haven't had to change a diaper up till now and he doesn't scream or cry he just sleeps, wakes up for some nutritition and goes back to sleep. But I heard the first couple of days aren't a good indication, so I might have to turn back on that... Up till now it's not him who is causing a headache, it's myself. Can't think straight for longer then 2 minutes in a row, thoughts jumping all over the place. Everyone says it to, and I do have adhd and already am on methylfenidaat ( rittalin ) though it aint helping really.....

Any tips for that? Lol...

Beschuit are similar to rusks but a little softer. In the United Kingdom they are sold as Dutch crisp bakes. They are round, and are prepared by baking a small cylindrical bread, cutting it in half and baking a second time. They are spread with butter (or margarine) and the muisjes (lit. ‘little mice’) are sprinkled on top. These muisjes are sugared aniseed balls. Ewww - give me cakes anyday! Mmmmm, cake....

Still, tradition is tradition and if helps the mother feel better as squeezing Martian Jnr out into this world, then who am I to criticise?

Neeyik the tradition is not to make her feel better, it's to make me feel better. Believe me the hardest part wasn't the squeezing out she done, but more the squeezing in my hand which went on for about as long

Naw she done a very good job, and I'm proud of it [yes] They said they haven't seen many doing it with their first the way she done it and I believe them. Atleast the results seems aok to me [thumbup]

P.s. post typed aproch 4 hours ago I just came back to the pc and saw I forgot to hit enter

Edit: Thanks for those I haven't thanked before

Spectrum bud, haven't seen you on msn for a long while so if you see me online send me message
The misses rofl when she heard about the soldering iron and computers at the age of five

Need to do some things now but I'll up another pic later today.
