For Kubica to "only" have a broken leg is amazing, that was an unsettling piece of television. Lucky he didnt get over the wall and take out someone head on.

Shout of the day, other than Hamilton of course, has to be Sato. What would have been the outcome if his pit crew didnt smeg up?

I've always rated Heidfeld since I saw him driving F3000 cars and was a bit surprised not to see him snapped up by Mclaren a few seasons ago.

Hamilton seems like an unrelenting robot on the track and he's my age too which only compounds my misery further. I think he should be forced to drive the worst car on the grid (Honda?)

Just about to mention that, great result for him [thumbup]

I felt really bad when I saw the Kubica crash, he wasn't really moving. 'Just' a broken leg is lucky I would say after such a smash. He will be out for a long time though

And [thumbup] for Lewis!

Alonso did mess up the bottom of his car, so he did ok considering that.

Pretty eventful race overall. Safety car periods were a bit annoying, but the end made up for it. I loved that Sato manoeuvre on Alonso, even if Alonso didn't seem to fight back.

But, ofcourse well done Hamilton[thumbup] ! And it's really amazing to hear that Kubica is ok, Shame about the broken leg, but it looked like it could have been a lot worse.

I don't know what you mean by "unrelenting robot", otherwise I wouldn't have asked would I?

A robot is known for it's stoic and consistent delivery,

He was unrelenting as if he had a burning desire to win.

I think Kubica will be my favourite driver now. He is damn quick and was completely screwed this race. He fought as hard as anyone I know to get into F1, leaving Poland and his parents at the age of 12 or so I think, to go kart racing with a meager budget, especially in comparison to other F1 drivers currently in the field. I hope he can recover and does not lose his speed. F'ing Toyota driver, was it Trulli that pulled that move?

because you want him to have the worst car on the grid and it "only compounds your misery further"?

I want him to have the worst car on the grid to see how well he can deliver under a different sort of pressure, and the age comment was obviously a light hearted jibe and my own inadequacies.

Yeah, Kubica could be a challenger as soon as next season, i'd rather have him over both the Ferrari drivers. The BMW lineup is easily the second best behind Mclaren.
