Default New Bike!!! Well,... new to me,....
Ive been off the road for seven months now after a big accident late last year and i decided its about time i get myself back on two wheels.
My last bike is still out of action and not the most practical bike in the world (KTM 640 supermoto), so I decided a slightly more boring but more practical bike would be a good idea. Luckily my neighbour was selling his bike so for £800 i have a new runabout [thumbup]

Its a 1991 Kawaskai Zephyr ZR750, a grey import so its only got kph clocks but i have fitted a convertor to the speedo so it runs in mph now.

Its not the prettiest bike in the world but it seems pretty reliable and can move pretty fast when needed

They are nice bikes - I had one myself for a very brief period of time (just a few weeks). Only one word of advice for them: keep it clean constantly or it rot before your very eyes! The biggest culprits are the brakes which have a notorious habit of seizing at the merest hint of dirt.

Thats a very sweet bike you got there. Something that I would consider to purchase myself.

I myself am looking to get a bike. Mostly for around town and going to work, never going over 60/65 and mostly in the 40/45 range. I am thinking of a used Yamaha Virago 249cc V-Twin.
Gas mileage is was turns me on. I don't need no speed demon, and it is going to be fast as hell compared to my truck. 24lbs per HP is not very fast.
I was looking at some other bikes in the price range, but those are all a little smaller single cylinder motors that don't like going over 55mpg very much.
