Difference between Rapidshare.de and .com - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

I just signed up for rapidshare.com cause its cheaper than rapidshare.de

Is there any actual difference between them?
I know that .de is German so everyone in Europe is supposed to have a better DL speed, but from what I ve seen my friends were able to download @ 1.1MB/s (with a Premium Account) and I ve been able to upload with 800-950KB/s.

Is .de faster or does it offer something better than .com?

i guess .de is just for those guys that dont speak english over here... probably more german ads on there as well.

shouldn't make a big difference. it is the same with google.de or google.com

rapidshare.de is their older service, which is gradually being sidelined in favour of rapidshare.com. For a while they had a crossover period, where your .de membership gave you access to .com also - but that has stopped now.
