Default £1 = $2
Ever since I got Vista back in Feb, I've had the currency converter on with sterling and US dollar on. And now - FINALLY £1 = 2.008 dollars.
I guess a lot of you have noticed this already, but it's a damn good thing for us brits. All our time codes for MMO's and american ebay imports are quite cheap to us. The UK is rich! SPEND SPEND SPEND [thumbup]

Even better is that I have family coming over from the US in June. Although I probably shouldn't piss then off too much by asking them to bring too much with them.

My car was broken into and my bro lives in the states, this could be a cheap way to get some stuff back.

Oh wait £0 x 2.0008 = 0.00$ - bugger.

So their money is worth less, why is that good for you? They need to bring more for you to get the same?

What's even better, a 49.99 or 59.99 US game, has been the same price up here in Canuckistan as of late, for once we aren't being gouged

Play asia turned into **** heads lately, something about not shipping certain items in the EU.

That's the reason we're in this position at the minute and that inflation is "high". It can't go on forever.

I thought it was more the dollar was weak atm.

The inflation is essentially why the dollar is weak.

Sure sure, your dollar doubles our dollar, but have fun paying your inflated prices on EVERYTHING.

You have twice the money, but twice the prices compared to us, so everything balances out.
Though you would become rich if you moved to the US. Twice the money, with half the expenses as you currently do.
