Some of my faves here in San Diego would be;

Sandwich: Scholtzsky's Original
Pizza: Filippi's in Mira Mesa
Steak: The Butcher Shop's Prime Rib
Mexican: Any of the hundreds of places named "Alberto's", "Roberto's", "Alejandro's" or similar, as they all make GREAT carne asada burritos!

So my fave place is obviously dependent upon what I'm in the mood for.
I got awsome steak and seafood and a place called Saska's I think on mission beach. It was expensive but also very tasty.

Of all the resturants I have been to I still think Sonic is the best... Too bad there isnt any here in Michigan
My roomate and some of his friends drove to Indiana for sonic one night, from Ann Arbor.
I can't say I have a favorite restaurant, I frequent Panchero's, but that's not really a restaurant.

Speaking of Savannah, I really enjoyed The Lady and Sons the times I have been down there, good home made cooking right there. But boy is it rich, almost to much for me to handle.

Lady and Sons is really good but you are right the food is very rich. The first time I ate there my stomach was upset for the majority of the day.

I have a few

Bern's Steak House, Tampa, FL
Prolly the best steakhouse i've ever been to.

...but...If I dont feel like going over to Tampa, I'll prolly go to El Cap (St Pete) - city search page - mm they have amazing burgers, free newspapers (tbt), and outside seating; around here, thats a good thing.

I haven't been to these yet, but I've heard they're amazing.
Mise en Place, S. Tampa, Fl
