Default Trying to simplify a formula.. maths help
I've got a rather scary looking formula that needs simplifying.

the formula itself is

(n * (n + (x-1)) + (10(y-1))) - (n + (x-1)) * (n + (10(y-1))) = ?

but im sure it can be drastically simplified down but i keep coming up brain dead.

Hi :-) Im feeling lazy so I stuck it into Maple, which said:

10 n + 20 y - 20 - 10 n y - 10 x y + 10 x
or this:

-10 (y - 1) (n + x - 2)
Cheers,
Gareth
