Default Why no Sci-Fi channel in HD?
Sci-Fi channel seems to have the shows with the most special effects and computer graphics, but it isn't broadcast in HD? Why? Out of all of the channels, this should have been the first to offer HD. Now, I only watch a couple of shows on Sci-Fi (only one right now), but they would be so much better in HD

I think it's because most of the programming they show isn't HD or widescreen. Really only the StarGates, BSG, Eureka, and The Dresden Files are in HD. BSG can be seen on the Universal HD channel though.

Heroes is also HD and that's shown on SciFi on Fridays I think. They seem to have just about as much HD as any other network that's not custom made for HD (I.E. HDNET). I'm not sure why they're not HD yet.

Universal HD is the closest your going to get right now.

Universal owns Sci-Fi.

You could ask yourself the same question about any of the major channels. I mean I only get around 8-10 HD channels right now and I get 150-200 regular channels. Makes me wonder why they are even pushing HD to begin with when none of the broadcasters seem to want to jump on board.

I agree though, sci-fi in HD please!
