I bought some skis last night so that I can fly my big(ish) aerobat on the river by my house. the skis looked really tiny on the plane so I was sceptical, especially since it sank through a lot in the powder. It worked well though. Once it got up to speed it floated on top and moved effortlessly in the snow.

These batteries have been lying unused for many weeks and need some use before they wake up again so the performance isn't optimal now. It's not sluggish though.

Check the burst of acceleration as I punch the throttle right before takeoff.

Excellent . I'm pretty sure we made some skis for my trainer many years ago from perspex. Worked quite well [thumbup]

Right at the beggining where you were showing of the scenerie i was thinking WTF that thing is awesomly fast and looks like a friggin Jet !!!
then i noticed it was just a little piece of dirt that looked like this,.. [rofl]
