Default Coke and pork = Worms?
I just seen this vid on clipjunkie http://clipjunkie.com/Coke-Brings-Ou...rk-vid872.html

Is this true or is it BS, The clip is poor quality and you cannot see much detail.

anyone have any insight to this

Its not worms, its fat. The acid in the coke 'cooks' the raw meat, constricting the uncooked meat and then forcing any fat within the pork to the surface. When they surface they appear as white blobs on the surface, and on a poor quality internet video, they tend to resemble maggots.

Coke can be used as a marinade for pork, and other meat products. I don't think chefs would be recommending coke as a marinade if it caused worms to appear from the meat.

Seeing as how the vid stopped half-way through, it seems fake to me.

I guess the meat could be infected with T-Worms, but if cooked properly it wouldn't harm you...
