The deaths and injuries were caused by stray bullets, sharpened kite-strings, electrocution and people falling off rooftops on Sunday That is just incredible. Were they using piano wire as kite string?

its extreme kite flying, the sharpened strings are used to cut opponents strings and thus their kites fly off to the heavens, bets are placed apparently, sounds like fun tbh.

They use string that has a glassy feel to it. Very tough stuff but I cannot see it killing anyone. Has anyone read "The Kite Runner?"
