As advised by earlier posters, look in Yellow Pages.

Also remember some insurance companies will give you cashback - Prudential give £100 via Quidco.co.uk.
Earlier posters? EARLIER POSTERS?!!!! It's just me! AGAIN and AGAIN!!!!!
Just joking, but thanks for noticing no idea why people won't take the little effort to save an absolute fortune.

In addition to smaller brokers I recently took my policy out with http://www.policyshop-insurance.co.uk/ which undercut the competition by some margin. Worth a call.

I found a local insurer who will cover me £570 fully comprehensive and will let me pay in installments.

Thank you to all who suggested the yellow pages, it's saved me a killing.
