I have a female friend in Holland, and it's her Birthday on the 23'rd of this month, I know she's an avid reader of books, she LOVES fantasy books!
So, I'm going to go to town today and grab her 1-2 books as part of her Birthday present, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to books, so if people could recommend me some, preferably really new ones (In the hope that she hasn't bought them yet), and I'd be one happy bunny! Thanks in advance... ![]() |

Piero di Cosimo: Visions Beautiful and Strange - Dennis Geronimus. Gorgeous monograph on the life and art of one of the most bizarre and under-appreciated artists of the Renaissance. At $75 it's rather pricey. And while both fascinating and accessible, Geronimus's writing mainly caters to those with a genuine interest in the field of art history. Although it certainly makes for a unique gift. Hardcover. Non-fiction. Jan 2007.
