Welcome to the club! [thumbup] Just please ride safe and always wear helmet, armor, leathers, etc! We don't want that bike to become a donor-cycle!
I had a fall during the lessons once, going 50 kilometers an hour. I was of course wearing full protection, and ended up with only a few scratches: I can't imagine what'd have happened if I hadn't worn that gear. I hope I never end up needing all this protection, but if I do that one lesson could have been the most important one of all.

Yup.

Indeed I don't, I like my body! [surrender]
Sorry to hear about your situation, though it's totally awesome to see you making the best of it.

I'm not a wreckless driver or anything, and indeed... I'm very careful in traffic. Especially now that I've only just gotten the license: I know from experience you never really stop learning on the road.

That bike looks pretty good for being that old. Most look like crap from the early 90s. Congrats man.

Default Things that go VROOM!!!
Passed my final test last week, picked up my new driver's license today and got on my Yamaha FZR 600 - twonha is now officially a motorbike rider!!!

Yamaha FZR 600 Genesis
600cc, 67kW, ~180 kilograms

The thing's from 1993, no damage worth mentioning and of course it flies like a motorbike should! Couldn't be happier! [thumbup] Share the joy!

I believe I told you I had started, but that was months ago... I've been pretty silent about it to most people online so as to keep the surprise a bit. And yes, thanks, it is a nice bike!

I have a regular driver's license too, yes... In fact, I even have my own car.
