Are elixers strings really worth it? - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

Just wondering, since I see you can get strings for $5-10 at the music stores here and the elixers are $17. I have never used a string other than elixers, but it is tempting to see if I can hear the difference. Thoughts? (Have an acoustic)

All I use are Elixirs. [yes]

strings are strings. just get a known brand and you'd never know any difference.

For my accoustic guitar I use Elixir strings only! I love the long lasting brilliance of the sound.

But for my e--guitars it doesnt really matter. Earnie Ball, d'addario or Fender is what I use.
