Default James Kim missing...
I don't know if any of you used to watch James Kim on techTv, but he's now a CNET editor. It appears he's gone missing while on vacation in Oregon, hopefully he's alright.

1) Are you truly offended that I reminded you (or rather, FM, since you used "us") of Phill's passing? Some of his good friends here bear avatars and signatures that say things like "HP - 1983 to 2006". Perhaps you should take the issue up with them as well?

2) You're sure the guy is okay? Wow, what clairvoyance. Did you even read the news article? James Kim and his family were supposed to check in at a hotel last Saturday, and they didn't. He's supposed to be back at work 3 days ago, but he's not. There's been no news of his family's whereabouts for almost a week. I don't think that means situation normal.

Im sure the police are doing what they need to, but I'm sure if u get a magnifying glass for xmas you can help.

I think ur going a bit over the top, jumping to wild conclusions cos hes been missing a few days, people go missing for WEEKS without people caring but cos he presents a show or whatever he takes precidence over others?

I think it's not normal for families to go missing for a week when friends and relatives know nothing of their whereabouts (especially if you're missing work; it's typical of people to inform their employers if they are going to take leave); at the very least, something unexpected has probably come up. So that opinion somehow indicates I think James Kim is more important than other people? Also, I didn't make any conclusive statements about his condition. You, on the other hand, wrote in your previous post that you're sure he's fine. And you accuse me of jumping to conclusions.

I dont think this disappearance is being handled any differently than if it would have been my next door neighbors.

James Kim is only "high profile" to a certain niche of people. Those people, who are his friends and co-workers, have posted a plea for help on their respective websites just like we would if they were our friends, family members or co-worker.
