Well, that thing looks like it really would give a performance increase, but 150US$ + the RAM is bit too much in my opinion...

Oh well, that will be some hard decision what to tell my wife to buy... ;-)

Default X-mas/B'day wishlist (help needed)
Hi guys!!

My wife asked me, what I wanna have for b'day (12/22) and x-mas...

I want some "extra" stuff for my computer, but what to get?

I don't have a good headset and no good speakers, which one would you prefer?

And I thought of a nice gaming steering wheel (I bought GTR2, and it rox0rz!!), and maybe a nice keyboard (but which one to choose?)

And maybe one of those 74GB Raptor drives?

OK, help me out guys, what else could be "useful" for me!?!?!?

Like what type of "peripherals" there are...

I have a new rig (see signature), and I have "everything" I need, now I'm looking for that "unnecessary" stuff, 'ya know?

i just bought a logitech S510 wireless keyboard and mouse set with the remote control... keyboard is very nice, good range and the remote is quite cool as i can control all my media functions from the sofa or bed in my room (have rig hooked up to 32" widescreen and dolby digital sony amp). Mouse is ok but not using it as i have a G7

Also the logitech momo force steering wheel rocks my socks as well.

anything logitech gets my vote really

I don't like "wireless" keyboards and mice...but that Logitech G15 keyboard looks cool as well, that would be a nice upgrade for my current "el cheapo" keyboard...

So, 1st item: new "gamer" keyboard

;-)

Nah, I woudln't. a keyboard is a keyboard, a new one won't make any difference. Like I said above, get some new 7.1 speakers with a nice sub and you'll enjoy all your games + favourite music a lot more

No, a 7.1 system won't fit right into my livingroom...I don't like all the wires etc. there...maybe that "Medusa 5.1 gamer headset"?? Looks very cool in my opinion...

but that other keyboard got some extra buttons, backlight, and a LCD display!! ;-)

Logitech do some speakers that have wireless rear speakers (if wires are a problem):

That looks nice!!

But it's not only the wires, there's the sofa right behind where my PC stands => it would stand right where my wife is "travelling" around to clean/get to her rig/etc.... ;-)

Get some high grade 2.1 speakers then, if you don't already have a decent hifi

Heya Gross, I think he meant a Gig of Ram. Try the Medusa headphones or Klipsch 2.1 speakers. What kind of monitor do you have?

Well don't know what the budget is, but if you are still on a CRT monitor, then a nice widescreen LCD monitor would be a very rewarding upgrade! I recommend this Hanns G. Or any of there widescreens, couple different models and colors available. Awesome monitors for the price Ive heard nothing but good things from them.

Better review, and it dont cost that much, just costs a bit for the ram!
