Museum exhibit space goes on eBay
Londoners are being given the chance to bid for their own exhibition space in one of the city's top museums. The Museum of London has put one square metre of its space for sale on the internet auction website eBay. The winning bidder can put an exhibit of their choice, which portrays London life, into the box. Bidding ends at 1559GMT on 26 November and the display will go on show at front entrance of the museum, at London Wall in the City, until February 2007. Suggestions for the space include a piece of film, a photograph, your grandparents' wedding photographs, a P45 from a hated job and an unopened letter. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/6159414.stm http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...7371&rd=1&rd=1 |
