Default Has God eaten beans or something?
I've got about an hour left in work, and the Wind outside is howling around the Portakabin I'm sitting in.

I'm expecting the bloody thing to lift off any minute and carry me to Kansas.
They never mentioned Gale force winds in the weather report for wales.
Seems like they forgot to mention them in 1976 too, and see what happened then.

Its coming right off the Irish sea and seems to be getting stronger by the minute.
Should make driving home interesting at least.

So if your sitting in your home in Kansas and you see a cabin fly past with some guy typing on a laptop, you'll know its me.

The only truly important ones in that list were

Israeli commandos rescue hostages from Entebbe, Uganda

The Viking II sets down on Mars' Utopia Plains

Cray-1, the first commercially developed supercomputer, is invented by Seymour Cray

In my opinion, anyway.

lol!

They've promised 60mph gale force over this week.

Nothing! really bad then!

considering the back end of a Hurricane from the USA, created a mini twister that hit the top of my neighbours roof at 120mph last year on 26th dec, took of 6 ridge tiles (each weighing 10-15lbs) one of which missed the back of my car by 2 feet and embedded itself a foot into my neighbours front garden.

on the twister spiral through my housing estate, it took out some power cables, picked up a kids "tonka" truch toy and then proceeded to smash every window on a parked car with the same truck.

I watched the twister speed up the back garden (it was raining too) and hit the back kitchen window, which flexed inward under the strain about an inch.

Did'nt see much after that as I was kissing the kitchen lino. [rofl]
