This is in reference to “Save the cheerleader, save the world!” and Heroes. Because of that catchy title from DsK I finally decided to watch some episodes since I had sort of been kicking around the idea from the start of the season. Now, to explain my title, stop Fing with the cheerleader! She’s cute, damnit, must something be sticking out of her or a limb mangled or turned the wrong direction every damn scene she’s in?!
Anyway, decent show, I’m very impressed by the atmosphere and ambiance and the special effects are done well but not over the top, unfortunately, it moves incredibly SLOW! Just finished up episode three and I feel like what they have let unfold could almost have been worked into the pilot and might really have thrown the viewers into something rather then feeling like they’re starting a nice long book. It could turn out well and surely has the right cast (if not a little large) and music and effects, but it really couldn’t hurt to have the pace pick up a fair amount and the first three episodes did not need so many recycled clips from parts of the show that already aired! Totally doesn’t even come close to pushing Veronica Mars, House, or even Bones off my list of top shows, but I’ll probably follow it for most the season if not all of it. Edit: Also, is there any chance we could have the subtitles in the SAME god damn place?! At least until the scene is complete, they can change in between scenes but come on, don’t make me hunt for them! |

It's because you are used to show's that have variably returning sub plots going on around the Case that is being solved.
The show Heroes has the main plot incurring in each episode with subplots revolving around the main. *I don't think that made any sense, but I know what I am trying to say. Being sick + tired = incoherent |
