We found a new solar system and hundreds of new Earths were terraformed and colonized. The central planets formed the Alliance and decided all the planets had to join under their rule, there was some disagreement on that point. After the war many of the Independents who had fought and lost drifted to the edges of the system far from Alliance control. Out here, people struggled to get by with the most basic technologies. A ship would bring you work; a gun would help you keep it. A captain’s goal was simple; find a crew, find a job... keep flying.

It just always makes me smile now on the off chance that there is a hell that people who talk at the theater just might be classified on the same level as child molesters. You all know how much I do hate those people talking at the theater!

I believe I have offered three HUGE insane clues that totally give away what I’m talking about to ANYONE remotely in the know. My classic ZOMG TV posts like this really are always for two reasons, the first because I truly did freaking love the show I just watched and two, because I enjoy trying to come up with a new mystery title or post that still deals with what I’m talking about and then seeing the replies I get from that.

I just watched Serenity on Sky Movies the other day. I've never got to watch the Firefly series though.

Oh god do I wish! That’s not the case though (at least I have heard nothing new since Whedon said “NOOOO!!!”), this is just a quote from an episode of Firefly and the big quote is the retooled / new intro that starts every episode as they air on Universal HD.

So lets clarify something:

He wrote a really bad teeny show - Buffy
Destroyed a great movie franchise - Alien Resurrection


So this Firefly probably isnt something I would enjoy, but thanks for the 5mins I spend reading this. It was truly worth it. [rofl]

Believe it or not, I hate Buffy too, it’s very teen-ish and just too cartoony and well, the Alien movie did suck a lot but somehow Firefly is amazing! Just about everyone that has seen Firefly loves it to death. It’s a great universe and the cast is just amazing, I was never a Whedon fan before I saw Firefly but after Firefly I am one. I know what Joss can do, that doesn’t mean I love everything he does, but his little dream about the Firefly Verse was a total winner.
