How you doin guys...
Im interested in getting a car. I live in NYC and I would like to know what other NYC resident car owners have to say about expenses and experiences etc..

For NYC, how about something small, cheap and gets great fuel economy like a
Chevy Aveo
Toyota Yaris
Honda Fit
Scion xA
Nissan Versa
VW Golf
All get in the 30's mpg range in the city, sit 5 people and the cost is almost nothing.

Or maybe a small hybrid vehical like a
Prius
Civic
Insight
For these hybrid, you would most likely be using the electrical power like 75% or more of the time so would be getting some outstanding fuel economy.
