Cool, I'm from Nigeria and i'm a poor, oppressed child who's never seen a credit card before.

Could you post images of both the front and rear of all of your cards?

Thanks,

Mr. E Theef

I've been stuck on a crappy visa electron from my student days (so was banks fault sending out letters to my term time address, yet being in the middle of the summer FFS).

Been looking at getting one simply as electron can be used **** all places.

I did have a capitol one card back a few years ago, always did me proud.

There is a good reason to use a credit rather than a debit card and that is for purchases over £100, because you get added protection (in the UK at least) under the Consumer Credit Act (I think it is). The credit card company is equally liable as the seller, so if the seller goes bust before you receive your goods or just start playing you around you can claim from the credit card company.

Visa debit card. I only spend the money I actually have.
With a Visa Debit card do you get the same card expiry date, secure code or equivalent(im not sure what visa cards use but mastercard securecode is irritating the crap out of me) etc, so you can you purchase off of any site that supports visa credit cards

I have a mint credit card (mastercard), which has 12 months 0% on purchases with £1400 limit, and i recently bought a new pc on it and i can slowly pay it off without intrest over the next few months, i could have paid for it up front but why bother. [thumbup]

Plus i have a visa credit and debit card with my bank.

I think as long as your sensible and dont buy things you cant afford there shouldnt be a problem...... plus if you are always on time with your payments and clear your cards quickley it looks good when you apply for a mortgage.

I use American Express (Costco membership one) every time I can. With the combo of Costco, there is no AMEX yearly/monthy (it is 100% free)...then you get the 1%/2%/3% cash back on all purchases.

I have a backup debit mastercard and visa CC.

So I love my AmEx...just wish it was accepted everywhere. That downfall requires a backup Visa/MC
