Default This is why they say that if you learn to drive in New York, you can drive anywhere.

It takes so much skill riding a bike in the city. Try it for one day, like those messengers do, I guarantee you that you will get hit or squished.

Great video, the music in the video was good.. Does anyone know who it is by?

I'd love to give that a go, but there isn't anywhere near where I live, not even close to that amount of traffic/chaos like that has!

Very dangerous and irresponsible driving, ignoring just about every rule there is. [thumbdown]

The music reminded me of Ryan Adams...

bikers BY LAW required to obey all the traffic rules that applies to vehicles. Irresponsible biking. There's nothing cool about it. It is dangerous to bikers, pedestrians and drivers.. I'm glad im not living in NY.

I agree. They're the sort of cyclists that give the rest a bad name. [thumbdown]

One wrong move or one slip you either end up under a bus or careering into some poor pedastrian, absolutely stupid and no wonder New York drivers and supposedly trying to make their life more difficult by opening doors in a jam to cut them off.

Maybe they should try that in Moscow and then boast about their skills

Bike messengers are a necessary evil in a metropolitan city. However, since this was a race, they were clearly being more careless than usual.

Here's a bunch of other such messenger races and whatnot. http://www.digave.com/videos/index.htm

I give myself some leeway in what laws I follow when I ride but certainly nothing to those extremes.

That was unbelievable, makes you wonder why there are even cars in NY. Just park it and ride your bike the rest of the time

Also, how the f did he make that pass around the 3:25 mark? I thought he was pinned in for sure
