So our laptop just said - **** you guys.
And drop dead... Most likely some sort of hdd failure but I hope I could ressurect some of the mp3's since not all of them were in backup.

I'd go for the higher specced one, since it's less than 30 euros difference and you get 2x 750Gb Hard disks, much better processor and better video card.

You could set up the hard disks in raid 1 and get redundancy with the new lappy.

That's a typo, I meant 300 euros not 30.

Plus I didn't see the reduction 'cos it's in Finnish.

220 euro difference then, even more worthwhile.
