Hello all i recently moved home and joined atmosphere broadband with the instant router,i acquired a netwrok card and i was attached today,thing is router says the connection down the line is 8mb and 768upload,thats what the router says when i login in to the router and perform a speed test however,when i down load of the net im just installing at 1.9mb,signal strengh has 5 bars that will be exellent and the speed at the second it says 36mbps,thats on the position of the connection settings,now im thinking just how can i speed it up? As i dont want any wires over the room,im about 300 yards from the router,when i first called atmosphere they actually explained that they did i dsl check down the road and it had been 8MB i dont want to make use of the network wire.
