In remarks printed Tuesday, the 63-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist said he'd snorted his father's ashes combined with drug. "The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My dad. I snorted my father," Richards was quoted as stating by British music magazine NME. "He was cremated and I possibly could not avoid running him up with a bit of setback. My father wouldn't have cared," he explained. .".. It transpired pretty much, and I'm still alive." Richards' dad, Bert, died in 2002, at 84. Richards, among rock's famous crazy men, told the journal that his success was caused by fortune, and recommended young artists against attempting to copy him.
