Default Getting together with non-Christian friends
As Christians, we're to be examples to the others and to permit our actions to show Christ in us. I've some non-Christin buddies that I care deeply about. They're good men, and I spend time together every couple of months. I actually do not feel they're leading me from my religion. Nevertheless, when I do spend some time together, usually the discussion can be very vulgar and sinful (i.e. sexual jokes), and I feel uncomfortable at these times. I actually do not need to encounter as prideful or self-righteous. Yet, I also don't wish to take part in these discussions. I also desire to be a to them and perhaps not prevent them entirely (in the end, they require Christ also). Any ideas or suggestions about just how to cope with this case, or that which you did in similar circumstances? Thanks.
