Default Inexpensive guitar pickups?
The pickups on my Ibanez RG don't actually cut the mustard anymore (cheapo unlabeled humbuckers that included your guitar) and I though I'd offer 'em an upgrade.. I'm no expert on guitar elements, so I'm searching for some recommendations. So I don't mind sacrificing a real clear tone for that additional oomph The Seymour Duncan Dimebuckers caught my attention (R.I.P I primarily play steel, so sharp harmonics, sharp levels and crispy levels would be the goal, I broadly speaking play with plenty of distortion. Darrell), they're not cheap, but I'm not really sure by what is cheap as it pertains to pickups. Looks nearly as great then half the cost and when there is something I'd rather opt for the cheaper option as a spare time activity as I really only play. Also, what's a great online shop to purchase pickups and strings and such things as that in britain? Stringsdirect? Athangyou [yes]
