Default My spouse seems to be experiencing Civ improperly
After seeing me play Civ4 all night, accumulating towns and overtaking the enemy's, she got involved and asked me to exhibit her how it worked. Obviously, I knew I'd be developing a monster--the game's addictive. What I didn't assume is that she'd become addicted without getting the game whatsoever really. An ordinary, normal, and consequently "correct" Civ participant may spend each change seeking to maximize benefit, planning as much as a few dozen turns forward. I'm perhaps not that which you might call a great person, but I at the very least consider my options watchfully. I increase productivity out of every block and select things to develop next centered on how it fits in to my plans for control. My spouse has had a more and deeply troubling unique strategy. She performs around randomly, fretting about what it will later and only pressing whatever seems good. She maintains that it's more enjoyable to just discover the game world without fretting about winning. Also, she wants seeing/hearing me flinch when she does something similar to when half the world continues to be blacked out send a caravel having a search to discover the polar regions. It's a refined type of mental pain with her. "Ooh, I believe I'll develop a movie next." "Honey, you may not have any coloring and your tradition slider reaches zero. The movie won't do anything." "Oh well, they are able to create the movie anyway." "But...but...you're carrying it out WRONG!" Then she unintentionally legs the PC's on / off switch, dropping no less than twenty turns of "progress," and she doesn't get upset! May my spouse be considered a witch?
Umm... That is kind of how I played these games when I played them. It's like SimCity. Yes, you can go and be considered a geek about it with planogrammed towns but it's funner to simply enjoy. These are activities. Perhaps not jobs. This can be why I really do not perform StarCraft online because that **** seems too similar to work. Oh my lord, if you skip an SCV to creating when you've the resources for this! That minor error may potentially be what allows your adversary an edge over you. Oh and incidentally, Civ4 was not also all-that.
