http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?...wed_in_frame=0 absquatulate 1837, "Facetious U.S. coinage" [Weekley], possibly grounded in negation of squat "to settle." Believed to have been first applied by the personality "Nimrod Wildfire" in-the play "The Kentuckian," written by William W. Bernard in 1833. Amazing the items you are able to discover in a book. Would you imagine the absquatulate will change the U.S. Buck? In the end, the present money may be worth zero.
