Authorities in south Florida were in for a shock a week ago when they cut open the stomach of a 16-foot Burmese python they'd taken and killed within the Everglades. Based on the South Florida Water Management District, the snake, that was a lady, considered 215.4 pounds using the deer, and 139.1 pounds without it.
