Default Vehicle audio issue
OK, and so I just finished adding my new Polk MMC5250 elements, driven by an alpine MRP-F450 rev (70 w x4). I chosen to biamp the elements, providing them with 140 w rms each. Now..the problem..the tweeters "crackle" at particular wavelengths, even at really low quantities. The one thing I can think about will be the tweeter's speaker wiring's measure is too low. I'm using the inventory wiring from a bmw 328i, and i calculate that the wiring is approximately 20-18 awg for your tweets. May audio cable that's too thin cause clear distortion? O-r must I get worried having a defective amp/HU?
