Hello men, So, Ive been truly quiet about this whole Netflix ordeal lately, been maintaining my thoughts/opinions to myself, but I believe its about time I at-least mentioned it. Netflix went from customers in the beginning of the entire year to 2-4 million this late summer, In the event that you didnt know. It's thought on the section of the organization this reduction in client base was due to a set of perceived poor choices. The primary being the organization, in July, automatically declared it'd increasing company prices. Several called it an unecessary price rise. The cost increase was quite small, 3$ additional monthly generally, after facts arrived on the scene. Netflix clients went INSANE and flooded the web using what I will best describe as "complete idiot-ness." Even good friends of mine appeared to reduce all intelligence and state that this "price hike" was the finish of-the world etc etc. Therefore, this week, Netflix sent messages from the CEO to "apologize" for "mishandling" thier customers...however this concept was less of an and more of a reason of the organizations motives for the future of the organization. It'd seem that Netflix now plans to separate the part of the company( maintaining the netflix name,) and the dvd by mail side( which will now be named quikster.) Early assumptions seem to be that your line won't be incorporated involving the two solutions. In addition to this, Starz is taking out of Netflix, which constitues a sizable part of Netflix's film library and gossip in a is the fact that in order for Netflix to keep, perhaps not develop, its loading library, the organization will need to pay out more cash than it earns. So, that means: -Two various ser-vices for loading and dvd/bluray by mail -Less streaming on the web, little expect more streaming library -Higher prices Clients are actually running the organization in groups and the investment is dropping rapidly. Obviously, things don't bode well at all. So with that said, here are my thoughts- My home slipped absurd $100+ per month wire years back to get a Netflix/Hulu combination. That has preserved us $80/month because we made the change and our viewing experience has been ratings better, we get morning late TELEVISION shows from Hulu, a large loading collection from netflix and what they dont have for flow is within our mail box on Blu-Ray in-a few days. The wife and me have already been significantly more than happy with how well this new program did. We've no intentions of ever time for conventional cable/programing. We benefit from the developed on-demand and loading service's and would gladly pay even exactly THE SAME volume that we used to for wire since within our experience you really more choice, more convience and much more consumer friendly experience with Netflix/Hulu+dvd/bluray by mail. Therefore, when we found out about the cost rise we weren't shocked at all, we'd no difficulties with it. Our ideas were that we needed netflix to increase and if your higher monthly payment might assist with that, then were perfectly good. As mentioned before, we're currently keeping $80/month and obtaining a much more exceptional advertising experience. And so I was perplexed from the groups of meaningless fools bashing netflix. But this week, when I found the mail from-the Netflix CEO, Learned they were separating the DVD and Streaming companies, they were loosing content and wont have the ability to manage new content....I only couldnt believe everything. I'd gladly spend $50/month for disk and Netflix loading by email, even then its a lot more than worth its money. However it appears to be that Netflix is definitely a sinking ship. That pisses me off, I eventually found a technique with which I might have on-demand press that suits my needs/desires and its heading down the shitter. My first emotions were trend at all the customers for flaming netflix...but after study, even when the customers hadnt raged, netflix might be within the same vessel. Film companies and It networks were the causes. These television systems refused to develop with the electronic time, desperately clinging to cable and juding success of tasks on cable audience scores and they've been a deep failing miserably. Therefore one day, they awaken and see how sucessfull content streaming is becoming, how clients could be satsified and have grounds not TO sailing thier content and they decide they want in with this total streaming thing.....a little late for the party dont you believe? But in the place of embracing what's DEMONSTRATED to be sucessfull and merely sign handles Netflix, which may offer more content to an incredible number of clients who're NOT pirating your material, each goes FULL RETARD and need as much as one hundred thousand MOAR for content contracts. Same with the movie businesses, they're having every year of record high earnings, however allow it to be appear as though the is harming economically and then require higher rates in movie theatres. Within an era where the movie theater is clearly an, compaired to seeing it on an HDTV with Surround-sound in HD, I'd think the movie business would be asking people to view thier movies....nope, they think they've the greater hand and need more...wow, method to end piracy guys. Then they see Netflix as a risk, not-as a saving grace and choose to demand soooo much for information contracts, that netflix might never afford it. In impact, it networks and film companies have killed netflix. They found as a danger Netflix to their protection, an interloper that will destroy them. But what they neglect to recognize is the fact that Netflix was thier FUTURE, thier saving grace, the clear answer to any or all thier issues. Something providing you with what clients DEMAND- On need press, complete libraries of months, available on an array of products. I dont worry about the pricing, per month Netflix might have cost 100$ and with appropriate information contracts, it'd have been much better than the wire alternatives. As an alternative, because Networks and hollywood turned thier guns on Netflix they've effortlessly turned thier guns on thier CLIENTS. People like myself who've no issue spending money for services performed, but won't get into network/cable programing. I'm the near future, I need electronic content......and today youve amazed the largest supplier of the press. You've left me with little option, I was paying you for the information before, however now youve eliminated my options and limited me to traditional, expensive, over publicized BULLSHIT. So since youve declared war on John Q Customer, who you think will get? For the very first time in ten YEARS I looked over my dirt lined package sitting in-the closet...... What are your ideas on all this?
