I have two websites, one gets about 7,500 unique hits a day, 75,000-85,000 impressions a day, CTR of 9%, and a eCPM of 9-15cents.

My other site which I just started is already getting like 3,000 hits a day, CTR of 14% and eCPM of 3-9cents.

I'd like to know how I can possibly up my earnings? My more popular website has plenty of content, activity, and traffic, but I hardly make any money. I'd probably bring in more of a profit panhandling on the streets

My new site although it grew quickly popular in traffic so far the eCPM is horrible, but I'm guessing maybe that's only because the site is just over a week old...hopefully eCPM will improve.

The first site is mostly forum based although the main site has plenty of content like videos, rants, forum avatars, etc.

The second site is a blog that focuses on highlighting innovative and creative ways people make money online, the blog is meant to inspire people and help give them ideas on what they think is best suited for them to make money online.

I'd really like to be making at least $60 a day, i'd be overly exstatic if I actually earned $100+ a day but who wouldn't I suppose?

Currently I don't earn more than 5-12$ a day so any advice, tips, etc. would be awesome.

I'm also willing to try other ad systems but most of them have sucked so far (I've tried adbrite, widgetbucks, and some others...I prefer ad systems that pay me through bankwire or paypal)

are you sure you are giving us the right figures? you CTR is very high and the earnings very very low, which is kinda nonsense, unless you get lots of invalid clicks

You may try some CPM networks. They generally pay between 0.05$ and 0.30$ per 1000 impressions. With these you can add another $15-20 daily.

Here's a screenshot I just took, the days not over by the end the stats usually flucuate to what I said but basically this is what an average day looks like (a little over halfway into the day that is):



at the end I usually get 5$-14$ but usually my average seems to be like...6-7$ lately.

Your CTR is less than 1%, you are reading the figures wrong. Your niche is probably paying low, my music site is paying me $0.25 eCPM at about the same CTR. My earnings are about the same as yours but I have a lot less traffic. I'm getting about 17,000 pageviews daily.

Yeah I know right now the CTR is really bad, it usually gets higher during the night buy lately (past 3 days) its dropped insanely low.

But yeah does anyone have any types on how to make more money with my websites? whether it be with adsense, other ad programs, whatever? any help or advice would be great! I've googled for HOURS and all I can find are stupid scams and copy&paste articles that dont say anything new or helpful. Most of what I can find is common sense knowledge I already know.

u want to study more about adsense heat map and use ad review center to filter unrelated ads category, use competitive ads filter to avoid unwanted ads showing on your site, use adsense sand box tool...!
