At a high level, the biggest factor influencing your salary as a nurse is likely to be the type of nursing career you have. For example, a more entry-level role such as a CNA will earn much less than an advanced practice registered nurse. But generally speaking, I agree that the salary of a nurse is unreasonably low. Because they often work day and night. And even if they have reduced work hours, it is still hard for them because they have a lot of responsibilities. I was a nurse for 25 years until I turned 57. Then I began to feel physically unable to cope with the work. Now I have found senior living, and live a joyful life instead of working hard for a penny.
