I have a friend who was just a few hundred feet away from the explosion when it occurred. Luckily he is unhurt. He's having a more exciting vacation than I think he bargained for.

I heard from a Norweigan friend of mine that there is also shooting right now at a summer camp for the youth branch of the governing party by a man dressed in a police uniform.

I heard on the CBC that the killer spoke with a 'central' Norwegian accent, and was tall blonde and quite young, according to witnesses. Apparently Norway has home grown 'black shirt' youth anarchists. While police are silent on the matter, the main theory is the killer was one of them.

The island the youth camp was at was 3/4th of a mile away from the shore on an island. He had them trapped.

Some tried to swim, etc. But it sounds like most tried to hide in caves, trees, etc...and he went after them.

It was an off-shore camp on a small island outside of Oslo, there's probably not any cops that usually hang out there...
