LOLz, Ted Nugent .

Here's my early prediction - Perry and Bachmann basically cannibalize each other, leading to Romney winning the nomination. Then, Romney loses to Obama.

Ben actually thinks Herman Cain is likely to win the nomination? He's got a BA, so of course I'm going to support him.

Is it just me or does Bachmann look like an alien that still can't quite master the display of human emotions?

The Republicans will never nominate a candidate that can actually beat Obama, even though he's ripe for the taking... sigh...
They're going to have to work pretty hard to loose this one, Ming.

Even Ron Paul is 50/50 in heads up polls with Barry O. Perry will crush him.

You've got Perry (yes, we need another cut-taxes-to-raise-the-deficit Texan because Bush treated you so well) Uh, I remember the days of 4.5 percent unemployement. They rocked. I miss Bush.

As for deficits, the current president's racked up more in 3 years than Bush did in 8.

Seems like a reasonable prediction.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the American people. Even Governor Secessy McSecessionton has a chance, a fact which makes me weep for our nation.
Blame Obama.

You're delusional.
Agreed. Right now, I'd say it is Obama's to lose with these Republican cruddy candidates

So far the exceptions are Romney and Generic Republican. They're only a few points behind Obama in the polls.
Romney will have problems because he's a Mormon (sad but true), and also because Romneycare is extremely similar to Obamacare. Which isn't such a good thing for the GOP.

Even if it muddles along, the Republican field is woeful.
This is retarded; Romney, Perry, and Huntsman are all perfectly acceptable candidates. The Republican field is much stronger than it was in 2008.

Obama probably will win. I know it's a small sample size but an incumbent president hasn't lost since Bush Sr. I wonder if the modern 24/7 news media and modern campaigning gives too much strength to incumbents. I'm just thinking about how the next few months will feature Republicans trashing each other more than Obama and that being in the public consciousness for months. That stuff wasn't around 20-30 years ago.

Romney had better get the nomination. Every candidate in that debate (which, I note, Rick Perry and Romney were not in) is a raving loon. I don't know anything about Perry yet to make that determination, however.

I would love a Romney-Giuliani ticket but Giuliani's infidelity will hurt him and it looks like he wants to return a favor to Perry for Perry apparently supporting Giuliani's presidential bid in 2008...

And he realizes it was a bad decision. Obama doesn't realize jackshit, or at least won't acknowledge that he does.
